Grape Escape 12 was held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando. Thanks to our generous community supporters and volunteers, the event raised nearly $340,000! Over 240 guests enjoyed an extraordinary dining and wine tasting experience. We 'escaped' to 230-acre nestled among the cypress trees along historic Shingle Creek. The Rosen Shingle Creek was a unique balance of luxury and gourmet food prepared by Executive Chef Jorge Oliveira and his award-winning staff. Each distinctive course was specially paired with a premium wine from the restaurant's extensive wine cellar.
We appreciate the work of the Grape Escape Committee and all of the community supporters that made the event a success. And special thank you to Sheriff Wayne Ivey, his wife Susan Ivey, and Bobbie Dyer for leading such an exciting live auction!
