Health First Foundation Benefit Ball
Saturday Evening, April 12, 2014
6:30 pm to 11:30 pm
Charles and Ruth Clemente Center at Florida Institute of Technology
Proceeds from this year’s Benefit Ball will help fund a new Health First Breast Center at Cape Canaveral Hospital and at the Health First Medical Group office at Gateway. The new centers will offer women a unique experience where screenings, testing, and diagnosis can be accomplished all in one place. This will be a one-of-a-kind breast center for Brevard.
Leading this year's Benefit Ball Committee was Theresa Williams. Theresa is married to Michael H. Williams, owner MH Williams Construction for 37 years and they have lived in the Melbourne area for 30 years. They have three adult married children and three grandchildren and two more on the way. Theresa is a retired RN. As a breast cancer survivor, Theresa is passionate about helping women through their breast cancer journey.
Our Underwriting Committee Chair was Stephen Lacey, Esq. Stephen is the managing member of the law firm of McClelland Jones, LLC where he concentrates his practice in the areas of tax and estate planning, asset protection and real estate and business transaction law. He has been living in Brevard since 2003. He is married to Jennifer, a lifelong Brevard resident, and they have three young children. Health First Foundation is so fortunate to have Stephen back on board raising funds for the Benefit Ball. Last year he was the top fundraiser on the committee where he earned the title as “the Big Kahuna.”
Our Committee Chairs and volunteer members would like to thank all of the community supporters who came together to make the Benefit Ball such a success! We were able to raise over $330,000 for the Health First Breast Centers, thanks to generous support.
