Hospitalist

A hospitalist is a provider who specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Hospitalists work closely with your primary care provider and frequently inform him or her of your condition.

When you require hospitalization, your provider or an Emergency Department physician will coordinate your admission with a hospitalist. The hospitalists are on site 24 hours a day and work closely with all hospital staff to coordinate your care.

His professional interests include adult medicine (diabetes, hypertension, thyroid diseases, hyperlipidemia, renal disease, heart failure, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder), adolescent medicine for children 12 years and older and women's health.

Dr. Rois was born and raised in Colombia, where he earned his Medical Degree from the Universidad El Bosque. He served a fellowship in advanced adult hospital medicine at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, as well as a residency at Central Washington Family Medicine with the University of Washington.
