Angela Roberts, PAC
Angela S. Roberts is a Physician Assistant with the Health First Medical Group with a focus on the areas of Assisted Living Facilities, Home Health, Physical Therapy, and Durable Medical Equipment. Angela earned her Associate of Science degree from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, Ohio. Later she earned her Master of Science Advanced Physician Assistant degree from A.T Still University of Health Sciences from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, AZ., where she graduated with honors.
Prior to joining Health First, Angela served as a PA for Family Home Physicians, a Brevard County group that provided medical management of acute and chronic illnesses for seniors living in independent and assisted living communities. Prior to that position, Angela was employed by Osler Geriatrics, where she served as a provider in the organization's Health Management Associates entity. Health Management Associates provides medical management of sub-acute and long-term care for seniors in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout Brevard County. Her responsibilities included diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic implementation, including counsel and appropriate community referrals for persons 60 years and older.
Angela spent 17 years providing medical care in Indiana before moving to Florida. She provided a range of medical care services for an OB/GYN physician, delivering gynecological care for routine health maintenance and assessment including contraception and menopausal therapies, and prenatal/perinatal/postnatal care. She also provided mental health review, counseling and management including pharmacotherapy for anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, domestic issues, and smoking cessation.
She also served as a PA for Nassim and Associates, a pediatric practice in New Albany, IN. There she provided health management for newborns through young adults, evaluating and implementing treatment plans for acute/chronic illnesses involving pulmonary/endocrine/cardiovascular musculoskeletal/gastrointestinal disorders, injuries, and abuse/neglect. She also provided assessment and counseling for adolescents for contraceptives/high risk behaviors.
Angela spent one year with Family Health Center of Floyd County, providing health management, diagnostic evaluation, counseling, and therapeutic implementation for acute/chronic disorders and diseases, injuries and high-risk behaviors for the under insured children and adults. Before leaving Indiana, Angela was employed by New Albany Family Medicine Urgent Care, a primary care practice supporting wellness and health management for persons from birth to seniors.
