Brian Ratzel, MD has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine. He earned his medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook and his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College of Columbia University. He has worked in New York, Georgia, and for the past 10 plus years, Florida.

Most recently, Dr. Ratzel was an Emergency Department Medical Director at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Besides working as an Emergency Room physician, he has had various roles in Emergency Medicine and Hospital administration and served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at New York University and Cornell University.

Dr. Ratzel believes in giving back to his community and is currently serving on two boards at his local YMCA. He is also very proud of his family. His wife practices physical therapy; he has one son in law school and the other in college.
