Zoë Gonzales-Rabathaly, PAC

General Surgery

Zoë Gonzales-Rabathaly is a certified Physician Assistant and works alongside Dr. Nathan Allison. She is also a member of the Bariatrics/General Surgery team for Health First's Viera Hospital.

Zoë earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Florida State University. She holds two Master degrees, one in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, and one in Clinical Medical Science from Barry University. She completed a postgraduate Residency in Surgery from Norwalk Hospital/Yale Medical School in southern Connecticut. Following her residency in Connecticut and prior to returning to Florida, Zoë served as first assistant to several Neurosurgeons in Waterbury, CT .

Her work with the Medical Group consists of first assisting in the operating room with Robotically-Assisted/Laparoscopic Roux-en-y Gastric Bypasses, Sleeve Gastrectomies, Adjustable Gastric Lap Band Placements/Removal, Paraesophageal Hernia Repair/Nissen Fundoplications, and other general surgeries. She also performs medically supervised weight loss visits, lap band adjustments, new patient assessments, post-operative management, minor office procedures, Emergency Room admissions, history & physicals, hospital consults, inpatient management and acute care and emergent and elective Bariatric/General surgical first assistance.

Zoë is currently a member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
