Ellora Jalali, MD


A hospitalist is a provider who specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Hospitalists work closely with your primary care provider and frequently inform him or her of your condition.

When you require hospitalization, your provider or an Emergency Department physician will coordinate your admission with a hospitalist. The hospitalists are on site 24 hours a day and work closely with all hospital staff to coordinate your care.

Dr. Ellora Jalali earned her Doctor of Medicine from American University of Antigua College of Medicine, Antigua and Barbuda. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University in Hamilton ON, Canada. Her Residency in Internal Medicine was completed with Robert Packer Hospital and Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, PA.

Dr. Jalali has served as Assistant Clinical Instructor with both The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, PA and SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She was on the Rapid Response Team and CODE BLUE Team with Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA and served as Observer/Research for the Center for Interventional Endoscopy at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL.

Active in volunteer medical work, Dr. Jalali has worked with World Literacy of Canada and Model United Nations. Dr. Jalali has completed presentations and research in her field and is fluent in English, French and Hindi.
