Theresa Halm, FNP-BC
Theresa was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Tampa, Florida in 1967. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1981 from Herbert H Lehman College of the City University of New York and was selected to be a charter member of the 100th chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing. After earning her degree, Theresa returned to Florida and began working as a staff nurse. She moved to Fort Pierce where she pursued her interest in Oncology and earn her Oncology Nursing Certification.
Theresa was awarded the Nurse Excellence award in 1991 and Columbia Caregiver Award in 1996. In 2005 Theresa graduated Cum Laude with her Master of Science in Nursing degree as a Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University. She was awarded the 2005 Leadership Excellence award from Christina E Lynn Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
Theresa is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has experience in both Family Practice and Internal Medicine.
Theresa enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, camping, making homemade jam and sports car racing. Theresa works with the Track Operation Team (TOTS) for Sebring International Raceway during the 12 hours of Sebring every March.
