Susan Glatter, ARNP-BC, MSN, CDE

Susan Marie Glatter is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, certified diabetes educator and certified fracture liaison. Her expertise is in medical management of endocrine disorders but her passion lies in diabetes, osteoporosis and other chronic disease self-management education.

Before her tenure at Health First, Glatter worked as a Nurse Practitioner and Diabetes Educator at Access Endocrinology in Rockledge, FL. Before that, she was the Diabetes Education Coordinator at The Brevard Health Alliance in Melbourne, FL. She also spent time on a Glycemic Management Team of Nurse Practitioners at Florida Hospital East Orlando. Glatter has spent time in private consultation and started an American Diabetes Association education center in Central Florida.

Glatter earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Masters Certificate at the University of Central Florida. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY.

Glatter is a member of the American Diabetes Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators, International Society for Clinical Densitometry, National Osteoporosis Foundation, Space Coast Clinicians and the American College of Nurse Practitioners. Glatter has contributed to radio broadcasts and lectured for pharmaceutical companies and the American Diabetes Association.
