Dr. Francisco Ruiz is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He completed his Residency and Internship with the University of South Alabama Medical Center Department of Medicine. His Fellowship was completed with the University of Tennessee Division of Gastroenterology. Dr. Ruiz also completed postgraduate training with BARD Endoscopic Technologies/BARD Endoscopic Suturing Device in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Ruiz spent seven years working with Coral Reef Gastroenterology, LLC/Health Management Associates in Sebastian, FL. He has also worked for Omni Healthcare in Palm Bay, FL, Ruiz Digestive Disease, LLC in Hobbs, NM and Sadler Clinic in The Woodlands, TX.

Fluent in Dr. Ruiz English and Spanish, Dr. Ruiz is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).

Dr. Ruiz lives in Satellite Beach and is married with four children.
