John Duncan, MD

Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes Education

John Duncan, M.D. is board-certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Endocrinology. He has practiced for 24 years and specializes in metabolic diseases, endocrine problems and diabetes in children.

In the Melbourne and Palm Bay area since 1986, Dr. Duncan holds privileges at Holmes Regional Medical Center where he is a one of two pediatric endocrine sub-specialists for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. At Holmes Regional Medical Center, he is the Pediatric Diabetes Consultant to the hospital's nationally-recognized Diabetes Center.

Since education is a significant component of an endocrinologist's role in the care of patients, Dr. Duncan provides educational lectures or group discussions for physicians, nurses, allied healthcare personnel, schools and parent groups. Many of his endocrine topics derive from the areas of research, which he continues as part of the practice.
