Hospitalist

A hospitalist is a provider who specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Hospitalists work closely with your primary care provider and frequently inform him or her of your condition.

When you require hospitalization, your provider or an Emergency Department physician will coordinate your admission with a hospitalist. The hospitalists are on site 24 hours a day and work closely with all hospital staff to coordinate your care.

Dr. Christian Colòn Ripoll earned his graduate education in medicine (MD Program) from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico Santiago and Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. His Bachelor of Science in Biomedics was earned at the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Colòn Ripoll completed his residency in internal medicine with Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL, where he will also be receiving his graduate medical education and board certification.

Dr. Colòn Ripoll is involved in medical research and he is committed to the community volunteering his time and services to helping the underserved population. He has participated in numerous health fairs and mission trips and he is involved in his church, the Shuler Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church of St. Cloud, FL, as an elder and volunteer with the youth leadership programming.

Dr. Colòn Ripoll is a member of the American College of Physicians (Florida Chapter), the Alumni Association of Loma Linda University and the Institute of Healthcare Improvement.
