Anton Coleman, MD
Dr. Anton Coleman is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His Internship was completed with Hospital Militar Central and Hospital Ramon Carillo in Buenos Aires, Argentina and his Residency in Neurology was completed with Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR. Dr. Coleman also completed a Post-Doctoral Associate in Neurology at Cornell University Medical College in New York, NY and a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuroanatomy and Neuro-Endocrinology from Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Coleman was also a Doctoral Candidate in Neuroanatomy with Universidad del Salvador School of Medicine and Universidad de Buenos Aires School of Exact and Natural Sciences in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Dr. Coleman has more than three decades of experience in his field and many of his writing and works are published in respected medical journals. He is also a highly sought after guest lecturer.
Most recently, Dr. Coleman was serving as Locum Tenens Hospitalist with several hospitals, including Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center, Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA, Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA and North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Coleman also had a Neurology Private Practice in Naples, FL at Naples Medical Center. He has also served as Assistant Professor of Neurology in Medical Education for the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. Dr. Coleman's career includes many other teaching positions, including Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine at Tampa and Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
Dr. Coleman is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Behavioral Neurology Society, the International Society to Advance Alzheimer Research and Treatment, the World Federation of Neurology Research Group on Aphasia, Dementia & Cognitive Disorders and the International Society of Frontotemporal Dementias.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Coleman's sub-specialties are Behavioral Neurology and Neuroendocrinology.
