Stacie Cobb, NP

Hospitalist

A hospitalist is a provider who specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Hospitalists work closely with your primary care provider and frequently inform him or her of your condition.

When you require hospitalization, your provider or an Emergency Department physician will coordinate your admission with a hospitalist. The hospitalists are on site 24 hours a day and work closely with all hospital staff to coordinate your care.

Stacie Cobb has been a member of the Health First family of nurses since 2007 and is a proud member of our hospitalist team. Before this role, she was a vascular access registered nurse specialist with Health First. She also served as a critical care register nurse for 8 years with Health First.

Cobb received her degree as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at Maryville University, based in St. Louis, MO. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL and completed her nursing prerequisites at University of South Carolina-Columbia in Columbia, SC.
