September is Cholesterol Education Month

In support of Cholesterol Education Month, Health First Pro-Health & Fitness Centers, in conjunction with Health First Labs, will provide cholesterol screenings at the three Pro-Health & Fitness locations. Cost for the blood draw/cholesterol screening is $10 for Pro-Health & Fitness Center members and non-members. Individuals need to call for appointments.

The test will assess your complete heart risk profile, including total cholesterol, HDL / LDL, triglycerides, ratio, and glucose. Participants are asked not to exercise before the test, and to fast for 8 to 12 hours before the blood draw. Individuals are allowed to drink water during the fasting period.

Test results are returned to individuals in a week. To register for your screening, select the date and location and call for an appointment:

Screenings will take place from 6:30 to 9:00 am on each date.
