Hospice of Health First seeks volunteers

Day and evening training sessions available

Hospice of Health First is offering volunteer training for men and women who would like to donate their time to a worthwhile cause. Volunteer opportunities exist in a variety of different areas at Hospice of Health First, including Patient/Family Support, Community Outreach, Special Events, Clerical, Bereavement, Transportation, and Pharmacy Delivery.

Volunteers must attend a two-day training session prior to becoming a volunteer.

"Some individuals who are interest in becoming hospice volunteers cannot attend a training session during the day because they work," said Valerie Kenworthy, Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice of Health First. "To accommodate as many people as possible, we are offering two training session options."

Choose training session one (evenings and Saturday) or two (week day and Saturday).

Volunteer Training Session One
Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 6 to 9:00 pm
Thursday, Feb. 7 from 6 to 9:00 pm
Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9 to 3:30 pm
Location: Hospice of Health First, 1900 Dairy Rd., West Melbourne, FL

Volunteer Training Session One
Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 9 to 3:30 pm
Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9 to 3:30 pm
Location: Bright Star Center for Grieving Children, 200 E. New Haven, Melbourne, FL
