Dr. Chauhan joins Cardiovascular Specialists Group

Health First Physicians announced the addition of cardiologist Ketul Chauhan, MD, who has joined the Cardiovascular Specialists Group of Dr. Ralph Rayner and Dr. Khalid Sheikh. This group of cardiology specialists is on the staff at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach.

Dr. Chauhan holds a medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine, in Grenada, West Indies. He conducted his internship and residency at Tampas University of South Florida, Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Chauhan completed a fellowship at the University of South Florida, Division of Cardiology, in Tampa. He is board certified in internal medicine.

The three cardiology specialists practice from three locations:

* 280 N. Sykes Creek Parkway, Suite B, Merritt Island.
* Cape Canaveral Hospital Medical Plaza, 699 W. Cocoa Beach Causeway, # 503, Cocoa Beach.
* New Suntree location - 7640 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne.

Cape Canaveral Hospital serves the beachside and barrier island communities in Central Brevard County (including Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, and Cape Canaveral, as well as the Patrick Air Force Base area and Satellite Beach).

The hospital also features a 26-bed Emergency Department, a full-service Endoscopy and Special Procedures Lab, a Women's Diagnostic Center, and a comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic program that includes a state-of-the art Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
