Health First cardiologists, Khalid H. Sheikh, MD, and Ralph D. Rayner, MD, have been selected for inclusion in "Guide to America's Top Cardiologists" for 2007 by the Consumers' Research Council of America.

Consumers' Research Council of America is an independent research company based in Washington, D.C. that evaluates professional services throughout America. The publication the Council produces will be available via e-book to consumers and corporate human resource departments.

The Council selects the nation's "Top Cardiologists" by using a point value system. The criteria include experience, training, education, professional associations, and board certification. Cardiologists who have accumulated a certain amount of points qualified for the list. No fees, sponsorships, donations, or advertising are accepted to ensure an unbiased selection.

According to the Consumers' Research Council of America, the "Top Cardiologists" list is a good starting point to find a qualified surgeon.
