Health First Welcomes Dr. Nasser Razack as New Interventional Neuroradiologist
ROCKLEDGE, FL (Sept. 18, 2013) – Health First is pleased to announce Interventional Neuroradiologist Dr. Nasser Razack has joined the medical staff at Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center. Dr Razack will develop and direct Health First’s Neurointerventional Radiology program. The goal of the program is to provide around the clock neurointerventional radiology services to patients.
As one of the few Interventional Neuroradiologists in Florida, Dr. Razack has spent the last ten years working with several hospital systems in the state—most recently in St. Petersburg and Sarasota as Director of Neurointervention at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital, Northside Hospital and Sarasota Hospital.
Dr. Razack specializes in brain aneurysms, stroke, carotid stenting, arterio-venous malformations of the brain (AVM’s) and diagnostic cerebral angiography. He received his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his residency training at North Shore University Hospital, New York University School of Medicine in New York City. This was followed by a fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology and the University of Virginia. Dr. Razack is certified by the American Board of Radiology with additional qualifications in Neuroradiology.
