Health First Palm Bay Hospital and Palm Bay Police Department to Team up for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
WHAT: Health First Palm Bay Hospital and the Palm Bay Police Department are teaming up for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. You can drive-up and drop-off your unused or expired medication for safe disposal. You do not need to even get out of your car. This event is being done in conjunction with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The goal of this national day is to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing prescription drugs—while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
WHEN: Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
WHERE: Health First Palm Bay Hospital (located at 1425 Malabar Rd NE, Palm Bay, FL 32907)
** Will be located at the west Physician Office Building entrance
