Health First to Give Free Ice Cream to Thank Local First Responders Week of 9/11
Ice Cream Truck to Visit Fire and Police Stations in Brevard

Photo: Health First to Give Free Ice Cream to Thank Local First Responders Week of 9/11In recognition of the 15th anniversary of September 11, Health First delivered free ice cream to Brevard County first responders during the week leading up to the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

Health First hired Chilly Willy Ice Cream and Sno Balls to travel to 38 locations. A total of 588 first responders and two canines were treated to free ice cream over the course of five days.

Free ice cream treats were also available in the EMS break rooms at each of our four hospitals for the first responders who happened to be at those locations during that week.

Health First is grateful for local law enforcement and first responders who exhibit bravery and courage every day. This is just a small token of our appreciation.
