Health First Announces Dr. Anita Dhople As Its New Hospitalist Medical Director
ROCKLEDGE, FL (July 23, 2013) – Health First is pleased to announce Dr. Anita Dhople as its new Hospitalist Medical Director. In her new role, Dr. Dhople will be responsible for providing medical leadership for the Hospitalist Program system wide. This includes actively monitoring and managing all clinical, quality and performance aspects of the program. She will be the liaison to the medical staff and administration for all issues regarding the program while remaining an active practicing hospitalist at all four Health First hospitals.
Prior to joining Health First in 2008, Dr. Dhople was an Internist with the Piedmont Physicians Group in Atlanta, GA. She also previously served as the Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program and Blood Conservation Program at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA, as a Staff Internist at Albany Area Primary Health Care and as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.
Dr. Dhople received her medical degree from the University of Florida and completed her residency at the University of Virginia. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of several professional groups.
