Already a member of Pro-Health? If you're currently paying for a Pro-Health membership and become a Health First member, be sure to update your Pro-Health account so you won't continue to be charged for your membership. Simply complete the Hold Form below and give it to Pro-Health (the form is also available from the front desk at Pro-Health). Changes will be effective the first day of the month after Pro-Health receives your form. You don't need to wait for your HFHP member ID card to make this change.

Healthy Living program

Call or visit online 24/7! - Free for members, our Healthy Living Program gives you reliable, proven and unbiased health information; explains your options; and helps you work more closely with your doctor to choose health care that's right for you.

Preventive care

Healthcare reform legislation known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is making sweeping changes in health care, and one of the first things to take effect was expanded coverage for preventive services. Commercial health plans (except for "grandfathered" plans), individual plans, and Medicare must fully cover certain services that have proven to make a positive difference in clinical outcomes. As we have always believed in the value of preventive care, Health First wholeheartedly supports these rules and covers all required preventive benefits with no cost share when you see participating providers and follow established guidelines and frequency limits.

The guidelines list which services are generally recommended for people with average health risk. Please ask your doctor if he or she has other recommendations based on your individual history, ethnic/racial group, or other risks.
