The U.S. Army National Guard veteran completed his residency in internal medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Dr. Perez completed his advanced training in Hematology and Oncology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He is board certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.

Germaine M. Blaine, MD, MPH, a member of the Health First Medical Group, is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and the American Association for Physician Leadership.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She then earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology with an emphasis in Clinical Investigation from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Blaine completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at The Bowman Gray School of Medicine/Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC. She then completed a fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology at the University of South Florida at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Following her fellowship, Dr. Blaine served as Instructor and later Assistant Professor for the Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology/Malignant Hematology program at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.

Juan L. Castro

Dr. Castro graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, magna cum laude, in 1985. He completed his medical doctorate at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico in 1990, and then he completed his three-year residency in Internal Medicine at the University District Hospital Center in Puerto Rico in 1993. Dr. Castro furthered his training in Hematology and Oncology as a fellow at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, completing his three-year program in June of 1997. Dr. Castro is board certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Brevard County Medical Society and the Florida Medical Association.

Ashish V. Dalal

Dr. Dalal graduated from the M.S. University Medical College of Baroda, Gujarat, India. He completed a rotating internship in Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the M.S. University. He furthered his training as a Clinical Research Associate in the Department of Oncology at the Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Dalal also completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Dr. Dalal is Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, the Brevard County Medical Society and the Florida Medical Association.

Delori M. Dulan

With over 20 years of experience in many medical disciplines, Delori brings to Health First Cancer Center a broad range of expertise and experience. Included in her vast knowledge base is a strong concentration in oncology and now radiation oncology.

Jessica Holcomb

Jessica Holcomb, ARNP

Jessica Holcomb is a board certified Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP). She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN) from the University of South Florida’s Oncology Nurse Practitioner Program in Tampa, FL.

Her special focuses include Oncology and Hematology.

Leonor Lourido

Leonor Lourido is an ARNP, FNP-C with the Health First Medical Group. She works with the Health First Cancer Institute team at Holmes Regional Medical Center.

Leonor earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She then earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner - from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Her focus was on primary care services for all ages. Her clinical rotations included care in family practice and pediatric clinics, urgent care facilities, assisted living facilities, and making house calls.

Leonor is a member of the U.S. Army, Florida National Guard. While deployed in Afghanistan, she treated casualties of combat trauma. She also served as Executive Officer of a 56-member medical company made up of physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs, and support staff. She trained soldiers in a variety of disciplines, including preventive health concepts, physical fitness, and assisted referrals to community resources.

Jackie Luker

Jackie Luker, ARNP graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree in December of 2009.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Luker worked for 11 years as an RN on an acute care oncology unit. She was involved in Chemotherapy administration and education of both patients and staff and clinical coordinator of the unit for four years. Ms. Luker is a member of The Oncology Nursing Society, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Joseph McClure

Joseph McClure, MD is Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. Dr. McClure has enjoyed leadership positions in the medical community including president of the medical staffs of Holmes Regional Medical Center and Palm Bay Hospital.

Dr. McClure earned his medical degree along with a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Florida. He trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah and completed his clinical training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Florida. He completed his residency at the University of Utah affiliated hospitals and achieved fellowship training at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Muwalla graduated from the University of Jordan Medical School in Amman, Jordan. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Director of Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he participated in clinical research trials and co-authored multiple publications in reputable medical journals. He completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Florida Shands Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Muwalla is Board Certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Brevard County Medical Society and the Florida Medical Association.

James Neel

Dr. Neel earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School Of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He achieved fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at Emory University in Georgia.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida / Shands Hospital in Gainesville and subsequently achieved fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Florida / Shands Hospital.

Lee Moffitt Cancer Center where she did her clinical training. Ms. Wilkerson is certified as an advance oncology nurse practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Wilkerson worked a number of years as a certified oncology nurse. Ms. Wilkerson is a member of The Oncology Nursing Society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nurses Association and American Nurses Association.

Solomon Zimm
Solomon Zimm, MD, FACP

Dr. Zimm graduated from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia, followed by a two-year fellowship in medical oncology and then a three-year research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Zimm then served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology, School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego from 1985-1987. Since then Dr. Zimm has been in practice in Brevard County as a member of Space Coast Medical Associates. Dr. Zimm is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the following societies: the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology and the Brevard County Medical Society. Dr. Zimm is Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.
